Join us on a leisurely paddle to the beautiful Toronto Islands in a heritage freighter canoe, a replica of those used by early Canadian settlers. With a professional canoe guide, we will explore a bird sanctuary, paddle past some beautiful sailboats and yacht clubs and hear about the natural geography and evolution of the area. Watch in awe as planes take off and land from Billy Bishop Airport right above our heads! Once we hit the shore... we will feast on a gourmet dinner picnic, (no burgers and hotdogs here!) with delicious dishes featuring local Ontario products and prepared by one of Toronto's hottest young Chefs. Relax after an amazing meal and watch the beautiful colours of the sun set over the island rivers….you will soon forget we are mere minutes away from Canada's largest city. As darkness falls we will board our canoes and paddle back, taking in the magnificent skyline view from the water... you will see the city as you've never seen it before. You will leave with a full belly and incredible memories of an amazing voyage to the islands.  What are you waiting for... come escape the city with us!!! 

Previous paddling experience NOT required. Bathroom facilities available on the island. Strict safety guidelines followed. Minimum age is 12. All youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Due to the size of the canoes a minimum number of guests is required to run the event (you will be refunded if the minimum is not met). In the event of inclement weather, we reserve the right to substitute another tour of equal or greater value.

The highlight of our day will be The Great Canadian Cheese Festival, where we will taste artisanal cheeses from The Great Canadian Cheese Grand Prix and a host of passionate cheese makers.As a bonus we will visit two premier County Wineries!  Our day begins with a ‘Grab & Go” breakfast from Toronto’s CHEESEWERKS, an ooey gooey resto highlighting Canadian cheeses, before hopping on our luxury coach and heading off to the award winning Rose Hall Run winery where the scenic vineyard will be the setting for a trio of tastings and a BBQ lunch by Seed to Sausage. Next up is the tastiest and most delicious part of the day….an afternoon of cheese tasting, pairing, learning and sampling of fine foods, wines, craft beers, & crisp cider…The Great Canadian Cheese Festival!   As the sunsets on the vines we visit Karlo Estates Winery for a final tasting by the largest dry stone bridge in North America before we bid a fond farewell to the county. Join us for this one night only Seafood Extravaganza!!!  Our Chef embraces his Maritime roots and years of experience in five-star northern Canadian fishing lodges to prepare a fantastic and succulent 7-course seafood feast.  He marries freshly caught Bay of Fundy lobster (24 hours from ocean to table, thanks to his friendships with East Coast fishermen), with sustainable fish and seafood from Hooked Inc, adds a sprinkling of gorgeous city skyline view, and serves it up on the rooftop of a downtown condo.  Dine with us under the night sky with a spectacular view of the CN Tower in all its dazzling colour, and hear the Chef's stories of life in the Canadian north.  It's the perfect setting for a unique seafood culinary experience and the closest thing to dockside dining you will find in the city.
